Trial Story is an 8-week trial workshop coming in September 2023 from LawStory. In this workshop, you’ll get:
- the step-by-step process of building a trial story structure that induces curiosity in jurors, creates moral outrage directed toward your story’s villain, and helps to persuade jurors to help your client
- 90 minutes of small group instruction weekly
- 2 hours of 1 on 1 time with Keeley Blanchard to work on your trial story
- Materials to assist you with preparation of your opening statement, cross examination, direct examination, and closing argument
- in-depth instruction on how to build each section of your trial story
- how to create and deliver a powerful opening statement
- how to build a cross examination that uses your opponent’s witnesses to move your story forward
- how to organize and prepare for a direct examination that will address the critical pieces of your trial story
- how to create and deliver a closing argument with a structure that will empower your jurors to deliver a verdict for your client
Who's right for this workshop?
The Trial Story workshop isn’t for everyone. It might be a good fit for you if:
👉 you are a plaintiff’s lawyer or criminal defense lawyer (or both)
👉 you have tried at least one jury trial
👉 you can commit to 90 minutes per week of small group work (tentatively planned for Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30pm)
👉 you have a current case that will benefit from working on your trial story
👉 you could benefit from some one-on-one consulting time
